What are the effects of dry needling?

In a dry needling session, each needle is gently inserted into the tense muscle at the trigger point, carefully manipulated to instigate the therapeutic effect, and then removed after a short period. The process may be repeated several times throughout the course of a single session.

The effects of dry needling are:

-       Improved energy levels

-       Better mobility and flexibility

What should I expect during my session?

During our initial session, our practitioners will examine your pain areas and evaluate. We will determine occurring myofascial trigger points that causes your pain. After locating the trigger point, we will plan your treatments based on your availability and comfortable intensity. Overall, there is no great sensation during the session though it will differ by people. If there is a trigger point in the muscles, you may feel slight cramp-like sensation which will initiate an important therapeutic reaction.
