An Exercise Physiologist create personalised exercise programs for both healthy and unhealthy populations based off you current level of fitness. Because the programs are individualised, exercise is made safe and as enjoyable as possible.

Exercise physiologists are able to help Manage and Rehabilitate a range of Chronic Health conditions through the use of exercise.

Similar to how a doctor would prescribe a type and dose of medication for the management of a disease, an Exercise Physiologist prescribes a type and dose/volume of exercise for the management of their condition.
Exercise Physiologists also aid in lifestyle behavioural change to live more active lives.

To qualify as an Exercise Physiologist, practitioners must complete a bachelor or masters degree. They must also complete supervised practice in a clinical setting. All Exercise Physiologists are required to be registered under Exercise Sports Science Australia (ESSA). Accredited Exercise Physiologists must also complete continuing professional development.
